Fake Cancer drugs available in market, here is how to spot fake chemotherapy medicine

Delhi Police's Crime Branch has successfully cracked a Cancer counterfeit medicine racket, estimated to be worth crores of rupees. The operation led to the arrest of seven individuals involved in the illicit supply of fake cancer chemotherapy drugs. The racket, dealing in spurious medicines critical for cancer treatment, has raised concerns about the potential threat to patients' lives. 

How to spot fake Cancer medicine:

  1. Claims to have different properties or side-effects;
  2. Claims to cure all types of cancer;
  3. Has a different shape, size, taste or colour;
  4. Is not correctly labelled or not labelled at all;
  5. Has an out-of-date or missing expiry date;
  6. Has weak packaging that easily peels off;
